The Oceanographia Journal is the official publication of the Laboratory Management and Valorization of Agricultural and Aquatic Ecosystems. Science Institute. University Center of Tipaza, Algeria.
Aims & Scope
Oceanographia Journal publishes scientific articles (Original research papers, Review articles, Short communications, Commentaries, Perspectives and Special issues) on marine research.
Published manuscripts can contribute to, but are not limited to: Physical, chemical and biological oceanography; Marine ecology and environment; Marine pollution; Biomonitoring of contaminants (bioaccumulation, bioconcentration, biomagnification, etc.); Regional and local knowledge of biodiversity and marine bioresources; Aquaculture; Marine geosciences: Coastal risk and vulnerability; Marine geochemistry; Ecotoxicology and risk assessment; Regional and local knowledge in coastal management; Socio-economic impacts of maritime activities; Marine management and conservation: integrated coastal zone management, maritime spatial planning, blue economy, conservation of marine protected areas, maritime governance; Operational oceanography (investigation tools in the marine environment, e.g., remote sensing, GIS, artificial intelligence, etc.).
