Training Objectives

– Enabling students to have a comprehensive understanding of the various stages in the development of educational thought in different societies and analyzing its relationship with modern theories, as well as interpreting the reality of education in Algerian society.

– Equipping students with an understanding of theories that address education as a social phenomenon and process, and developing their ability to analyze and comprehend reality in light of these ideas.

– Acquiring knowledge of the philosophical foundations of any educational system and exploring the various philosophical approaches that underlie educational systems. This helps students understand the ideological background of different educational systems and the aims pursued by educational institutions within society. It also enables them to grasp the educational goals that embody specific philosophies and serve as tools for shaping the individual’s personality and as objectives for social projects.

Targeted Qualifications and Competencies

The training aims to develop a set of abilities and skills among students in the following area:

– Acquiring foundational knowledge and major theoretical orientations in the field of education.

Regional and National Employable Skills

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree, students can work, based on their abilities and interests, in the following fields:

– Institutions under the Ministry of National Education.

– Institutions under the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

– Vocational training institutions.

– Institutions under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Pathway programs

This specialization allows students to continue their education at the master’s level in the same field or in related disciplines such as school psychology, educational psychology, and educational sciences.
