Training Objectives

The Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Linguistics is an academic program aimed at preparing students for further studies at the master’s level in the field of general and applied linguistic studies. This degree falls within the domain of linguistic studies. The objective of this specialization is to provide students with knowledge and skills in applied linguistics and adapt their knowledge to the developments in the Algerian linguistic environment. It also aims to develop their abilities in producing texts, writing, and editing for social and cultural communication. Additionally, it focuses on their capacity for computational linguistics, organization, and machine translation. Students will also acquire the ability to establish their own institution for investment in the field of specialization (applied linguistics), explore unexplored areas, and be open to the socio-economic space. Furthermore, the program includes the preparation of a graduation thesis, in which students acquire knowledge of research methodology and control of scientific terminology.
