Training Objectives
A. General Organization of the Training
Tourism has become the main driver of many economies worldwide, especially non-oil economies, and an important source of foreign currency as one of the most important industries capable of achieving high growth rates compared to other sectors. It is also considered a promising market for employment and an effective mechanism for absorbing unemployment, in addition to its significant contribution to local and national development. Based on this basis, tourism activities have witnessed significant development in terms of planning, organization, marketing, and modern techniques. Hence, there has been an increasing focus on training and the quality of tourism education through the development of educational and training programs that target the preparation of qualified human resources to work in the tourism industry.
Based on the above, the Master’s in Tourism Business Administration aims to enhance tourism excellence and design a suitable environment that allows for the efficient and effective achievement of selected objectives by increasing the productivity and competitiveness of tourism institutions. It is also a response to the aspirations of students in the fields of business administration and tourism economics on the one hand, and the realities imposed by the distinctive characteristics of the region on the other hand.
B. Admission Requirements for the Master’s Program:
Admission to the Master’s program in “Hotel and Tourism Marketing” is open to students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in the new system (LMD) in disciplines related to marketing.
Students are accepted into the marketing master’s program on the condition that they have previously studied in the bachelor’s program in the following disciplines: tourism economics, business administration, marketing, banking and insurance, and all disciplines accepted by the pedagogical group, scientific committee, or training group.
